IBM - I have discovered two new "features" with the ADSM V2 clients that I
have downloaded from the server. Primarily, this is OS/2, Windows, and
Windows NT.
1. The installation programs no longer make a backup copy of the old release.
I liked the old method of using a subdirectory for the old one - or are you so
sure that I will always be able to install a new version and have it run
correctly, and will never have to go back to the old release in a jam?
2. All of the diskettes are now labeled ADSMn, where n is the disk number.
Why do I care? Because I made backup copies of the installation disks using
ADSM! That program has a strange requirement requiring unique labels. Any
chance we can change this one? An alternative is to use Archive, but it isn't
as clean.....
