Jim,

We backup about 1-4 Gig per day from 200+ nodes to our ADSM/6000 server.
The server is an RS/6000 model 41T.  Network is ethernet.  SCSI-2 disk
and 8mm tape.  I have run a network analyzer on our subnet during the
backup, and it appears to not be very stressed.  The backups occur over a
3-5 hour period.  We have plans to increase the number of nodes to at
least 2000.  We plan to upgrade to FDDI, and probably higher speed tape.
We expect ADSM/6000 to handle this load, but it would be nice to hear that
some other installation has already handled this amount of load.
