The information you need is in Chapter 9 of the Administrator's Guide.

I just did a similar thing here (on a VM server) last week.  I gave the
server a new (large) extent (define db/dbcopy), told the server to use
it with the extend DB command.  Next,I moved the data from the old
extents with the reduce db command and then gave a del db command for
each old extent.
