Hello,
I would like to test restore of an AIX 3.2.5 machine. My procedure
would be as follows (I think):
1. make sure I have bootable media (tape)
2. trash all disks on the system
3. reboot from tape
4. re-install ADSM client
5. restore all file systems
Now, for the question(s) -
Has anybody done this? and if so what gotcha's do I need to watch out for?
For example, will the restore maintain the file ownerships if I'm
restoring while logged in as root?
