Our server runs on VM.  I wrote a REXX exec that uses an ADSM macro and
pipeline to pick out those users that are about to expire and resets the
password for them.  These are our LAN servers, so there aren't any "users"
to monitor the passwords.

I also have another exec and macro that checks when the last
successful back completed and if its more than 30 days, it sends a warning
note.  I can do this because I include their e-mail address in the Contact name
 field.  If there is no address, then no mail is sent.  If you like, I can
send you an example.

By the way, I didn't know about the macro feature until I attended Gretchen
Thelie's presentation at SHARE.  The information isn't in the books (at least
I haven't seen it).  However, if you go into the CMS client and type HELP
there is extensive information on it there.  A VERY useful feature.
