I'm trying to get IBM's Adstar Distributed Storage Manager (ADSM) windows
client to backup my DOS machine. I'm running MS-DOS 6.2, Windows 3.1,
DOS LAN Requestor 3.0 (7045, with the latest zip fixes applied), and
trumpet 2.0b.

Adsm works fine if I don't start the DOS LAN requestor. If I start the
requestor, ADSM takes off and then locks up my machine after saying
it backed up the first file. I have to go to the task list and stop
ADSM. Then stop and restart windows. ADSM said it backed up one file,
or the percent done graph went to 100% before it locked up, but if
I try to restore the file it is not there.

When I start ADSM it asks for and confirms my password, so it is
connecting to the server. I think the password check is a ping type
operation and the file transfer is FTP.

Has anyone gotten ADSM to run with TRUMPET and DLR 3.0 loaded at the
same time? If so, do you ahve any ideas what may be wrong? Could you
forward me your autoexec.bat, config.sys, and ini files to look at?

Thanks for your response in advance...
