ADSTAR  Distributed Storage Manager (ADSM) from IBM
provides performance tuning tools in the form of ADSM
client/server parameters. The performance tuning parameters
can be used to further strengthen the power of the
existing ADSM performance tools to  tune the customer's
back up and restore services in a complex network
environment. The actual performance improvement realized
from using the parameters will vary depending on each user's
client/server platforms, network resources and backup/restore
environment.
