Noticed a problem with the count down timer on the ADSM Windows Scheduler.
Whenever you run a full-screen DOS application under Windows, the timer
stops. Whenever you end the DOS application the timer resumes from where it
left off. This creates a problem since one of our backup schedules
(NOON_HOUR) consists of a one hour window (12:00 to 13:00). If a client
spends an hour or more in a DOS session under Windows in the morning, the
timer becomes an hour or more behind and as a result does not expire until
after 13:00, at which point the backup window has been missed.
These Workstations are all running Windows 3.1 in 386 enhanced mode. Also,
other Windows applications using timer dependent logic (i.e. Eudora and
WindowsCRON) sill operate normally while a DOS full-screen application is
running.
