Maybe this can help :

If you're using APPC between the host and your OS2 platform,
you CAN'T be in Server-prompted mode, but only in Client-polling.

At each polling (determined by the QUERYSCHEDPERIOD variable),
the client queries the server's schedules for the node, and finds
out when it's appropriate to kick off the schedule depending on
the RANDOMIZE setting. Set RANDOMIZE=0 if you want to see your
schedules started at the time YOU specified.
