Thanks for the quick response.

This is VERY reassuring.  We always suspected this, however we were not
sure and if it is in the documentation, I could not find it.

I also believe that there is another requirement that is near the top
of the list:

-->RESTORE IF NEWER
Our need would be the case where we restore from some older dump tapes
Our need would be the case where we restore from some older dump tapes
but need ADSM to "clean up" a filesystem and bring it up to date.  Our
dump tapes might be older than our ADSM repository, however a full
restore from the dump tapes (in event of an HDA failure, for instance)
is certainly much quicker.

Could you check on whether or not this is a requirement?
