I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. It seems like an
ADSM server error to me.

If a connection idles itself out, the QUERY NODE ***** F=D command only
updates the 'Last Access Date/Time' line. The other information
for the connection that was closed due to its being idle, specifically the
'Bytes Received Last Session', 'Bytes Sent Last Session' and 'Duration of
Last Session (sec)' are not being updated. If the connection is actually
ended as opposed to being closed due to an idle time-out it updates the
entry and puts the correct information in place.

Checking the filespace of the client with the QUERY FILE ***** F=D
command shows that the information is correct on the 'Last Backup Start
Date/Time' and the 'Last Backup Completion Date/Time' lines along with
the data on the other lines of information returned for the client.

This really strikes me as a server error. QUERY SESSION shows the byte
count for the connection so it seems that all the information is on the
server but the node information is just not being updated. For general
information, I have only seen this with a Mac client to date and it's
a bit of a pain for me to test it on anything else.
