You might get it to install by using the -R option to prevent pre-req checking but it has never been tested and is not officially supported.
The supported versions of Linux on Intel or Intel-like platforms are these:

Red Flag 5
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0, 32 or 64-bit kernel
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, 32 or 64-bit kernel
