Has anyone integrated CA's Wily Introscope SNMP agent with NetView or any other SNMP manager?
All snmp traps are sent with a single specific trap value of 5000 with one variable containing all possible messages.
It appears that it is left to the customer to write code that parses the message.

Also, the SNMP agent has to run on ports 161/162 as the primary agent on the management server.
It will not run as a subagent.  Therefore, none of the standard MIB-2 data is available.

Am I missing something here?

Puzzled,
Don Davis
