Looks like hostname is not defined in .cds file.
Please see below part from .cds & TEC receptionlog.

Not enough information Larry.

(1) What does the event look like when it's formatted and sent to TEC now?
You can get that information from a wtdumprl or from the nvtecad.log if you
have set the LOW plus NORMAL level tracing for TECIO to  produce a log of
events sent to TEC.

(2) And what does your CDS say for those events now?

Hi,
New 7.1.5 NetView FP 2 on Windows. I'm not seeing Hostnames for Cold_Start
and Link_ups being sent to TEC server? Any idea How to modify
tecad_nv6k.cds file to send in Hostnames?
