While there is always a little bit of new function in every maintenance release, V7.1.4 is still a maintenance release. That means fixes.

What it means that Precision IP is on the horizon depends on your own implementation plans, but I would plan on a period of parallel running between my Netview solution and my Precision IP solution. I think you should keep any system up to date, and 7.1.3 is pretty old. V7.1.4 is on fixpack 4 and a 7.1.5 has been announced for later this year, at which time you will lose support for 7.1.3.

I would do the updates all at once. Put on 7.1.4, put on fixpack 4, and call for a few recommended fixes for fixpack4. Do that now. It's fairly painless. When 7.1.5 comes out, slap that on.

Good morning-

I am currently working on an upgrade from Netview 7.1.3 to 7.1.4. However, doing this seems kind of futile with Precision IP on the horizon. I was looking for information on features that 7.1.4 would give me over 7.1.3. I could not find any in the release notes, so I wanted to ask the list.
