I am curious to understand how Netview create the selection name for
objects.
Sometime some of the interface of a device have selection name like:
"Interface:Vlan835" instead of the usual "Node_selection_name:xxxxx".
Does anybody know the reason why netview sometime use the string
"Interface" instead of the name of the node ?

I am asking the question because I am writing some scripts that try to
detect when a specific interface end up in the wrong node and is never
deleted because of the presence of the "S" flag in oid_to_type. Because of
that I often get some duplicate IPs in Netview. I would like to at least
detect the problem in order to fix it but I have had no success with the
netmon flag NV_NETMON_REPORT_DUP_ADDRS_ONLY=TRUE.
any suggestion ?

Thanks,
