I think it's the same port 8080
with 8443 for the SSL portion
I ran a netstat -n and to verify
or you could use a sniffer tool (like Ethereal) to validate.
Here are my results:
C:\>netstat -n
Active Connections
Proto Local Address
Foreign Address State
TCP Client-IP:1721 Netview-IP:8080
TIME_WAIT
TCP Client-IP:1722 Netview-IP:8443
ESTABLISHED
TCP Client-IP:1723 Netview-IP:8443
ESTABLISHED
TCP Client-IP:1724 Netview-IP:8443
ESTABLISHED
TCP Client-IP:1725 Netview-IP:8443

Subject: [nv-l] NetView Server & Console(Client)
Does any one know which port does the NetView Console(Client) uses to connect
to NetVIew Server. The Web Client uses port 8080 by default but i havent
been able to figure out which ports does the console application uses for
communication with NetView Server. We have NetView 7.1.4 For Windows.
Reagrds,
