Guy,
Dit is een betere versie :
SNMP configuration:
community
timeout retry
Polling
global default
: *.*.*.* public
2.0
3 5m
IP wildcard :
10.120.8.*
mycom - -
-
Node
: 10.120.8.30
mycom
-
- -
We have two groups of machines, routers which use
the "mycom" as community string and novell
servers that use "public". It seems as if NetView
accesses the routers twice a day with the wrong
community name, it tries three times however with
intervals of 2 seconds as set in the default.
What part of NetView does this ?
More important how do I make it use the correct
community string or stop it from accessing the devices ?
Koen
