Try this:

*Problem Desc:* How can a scrunched "/usr/OV/bin/*smconfig*" panel befixed?

*Solution:* This is a known problem with NetView versions 7.1 and 7.1.1on *Solaris*. It can be repaired as follows:


Copy:
"/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/*SMconfig*"

into:

"/usr/openwin/lib/app-defaults/*SMconfig*".

After doing this, the *smconfig* tool should work properly.

When launching the smconfig fom an X console, we get the GUI with only two 
dialog boxes all mixed up. From that point the GUI can only be closed.
Has anyone come across a similar problem with smconfig?

NV 7.1.4 Solaris 2.8 FP2.
