Not really. On AIX there is the gtmd
background daemon which supports the View..Protocols function which allows
you to navigate to other submaps containing the selected node. I don't
think that works on Solaris.
On the Motif map there is also 'View....Submap"
and also the "Locate..Submap" function. DON'T USE THESE. They
have to make a list of all submaps, and for most customers this means a
coffee-break, or maybe lunch.
But from the web client, there is the
terrific 'Show In' function for any node. It shows, on the context menu,
a list of submaps in which that node appears. And the explorer view on
the left is a handy way to navigate.
I also like to make a Smartset of 'isLocation=True'.
If you have subdivided your map in a meaningful way, this can be very useful,
especially from the explorer side of the web console.
If I have not understood what you are
trying to accomplish, ask again.

Hi All. Is there any way within Netview to create Navegation shortcuts
(I mean objects that brings you to another part of the map)?
NV 7.1.4 FP2 Solaris 8.
