I called that one in in November of
2002. It took a while, but there is an efix for 7.1.3 for APAR IY40807
and it goes on after FP1. Time to upgrade...

NV 7.1.3 / AIX 5.1
Netview web console client, running on Solaris,
updates the text hierarchy window (left side of console) for the smartsets
(e.g. Cisco_Device_Down) but not the topology / graphic (right side of
console) view. If I close and reopen, it displays the current info, but
never updates/refreshes when updates are received for the smartset. Surprisingly
everything works for a web console client running on Windows. Any ideas?
Is there any way to color code the whole
event in the event browser of the web console to make the severity more
obvious to NOC technicians? By default color is only shown as a little
icon at the beginning of the event; and apparently my technicians are having
difficulty determining the severity J
