Okay, I figured out that the last field is the instance number. Does anyone know of documentation on this file structure? The man page is um, a little weak.

Subject: [nv-l] snmpCollect "bang" files

Long  story, short question. I am creating my own snmpCollect database files (using a technique that gathers data without snmp) My question is what are the fields in the bang file.

units
COUNTER
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13
125
The first 3 are pretty self explanatory. What is the "125" in the last line. I looked through a lot of those bang files and can't quite figure out what they are. Anyone have a clue?
