And I would recommend using the web client because it gives the capability of multiple views of a r/w map. The r/w map is required for dynamic smartset membership. And dynamic smartset membership is the best way to show concise views of problem nodes.

I would recommend using X instead of the web client.
I say this only because the X session can display background graphics which is impressive on a big screen.
The web client is not capable of displaying backgrounds.

[nv-l] NOC Netview Client: Web Console Vs Unix Client

Hi Folks,
I have an intriguing dilema as to choose the best suited Netview client for the NOC to de displayed on a big screen.

Q1: Which client is better: Web Console or Unix Client?
Q2: Any sugestion for a good NOC configuration for efficiently Monitoring the Network?

Thank You,
Meyos
