It's an option in serversetup -- "Clear the databases" under "Maintain". There are two options. If you save customizations then your smartset definitions will be preserved, otherwise not.

Sorry for the silly question, but does anyone have the procedures for re-doing the discover. In otherwords, starting over for netview 7.1 on Solaris.
