Hi,there

when you edit the location.conf file, netmon daemon should know any 
configuration to be changed.
netmon daemon refer some configuration files such as 
netmon.seed,location.conf...etc.

I think that only ovstop netmon/ovstart netmon is effective.

If you want to view the added location object quickly, create a new map 
temporary.
then you can find the object you added and re-open the root map,you can find it 
in the new object list.
Finally, Delete the temporary created map you created.

how is it possible to have netview re-read the location.conf file ?
is a ovstop netmon/ovstart netmon enough ? or is it necessary to stop and
restart every daemons ?

AIX 4.3.3, Netview 7.1.3
