Traps are different from SNMP requests. You have to have a correct
community name to get a response from an agent. But he doesn't need any
special community name to send you an unsolicited PDU or message, which is
what a trap is. In NetView, trapd doesn't care what community name an
agent uses in a trap. All traps are processed and displayed, and if you
include $C on the format of the log message you can see what community
name the device is including in the trap.
