To add some more wood on the fire...

Solaris, LOADS of memory and not much running, F-Securre SSH Client.
This combination IS A DISASTER! It is so slow it is unusable. 

My AIX box, 1.5gb memory, 4.3.3 ML10 cawls. Snail pace. AIX and Java... urgh.

Does anyone else find the NetView Web Console INCREDIBLY slow on AIX 
4.3.3 ML10??  I know Java isn't the spiffiest thing in town but it is 
dramatically slower on AIX (with 640Mb memory) than Solaris (with 256Mb) 
and Win2K is positively dashing!  The Java TEC Console is also slower, 
though I don't think the comparison is as dramatic as with the NetView 
Console. 

Anyone know anything about Java patches at this level of AIX? I'm at NetView 
7.1.3 - no Fixpack. Many thanks, Jane
