Stefan,

SmartSets are dynamic.    If the new node fits the rule of the SmartSet, it
will be added to it dynamically.   If you are not seeing a node you expect
in the SmartSet, look at the rule of the SmartSet and compare that to the
field values for that node.   If you have been populating field values
using nvsniffer or some other tool, you may need to re-run that process
again to populate field values of new nodes.

If you are using fields in your rules that NetView normally populates, then
you should have to do nothing when NetView discovers new devices.

Also, make sure that daemon nvcold  is running.   This daemon updates the
SmartSets.
