ISO

Here is some information I am baffled by (mainly because I cannot find any
reference to it in any RFC, SNMP Book, or internet reference).

BSI is the organization responsible for maintaining / allocating all the ISO
organization codes. ISO doc 6523 represents "Information technology --
Structure for the identification of organizations and organization parts --
Part 1: Identification of organization identification schemes"

In that ICD ARINC has an entry as:

What I find strange about this is it is not public domain. As stated above,
I have not found or read and precedence for this. Anyone ... anyone have
any insight into this? Maybe a FAQ I can read on the subject?

Jason,
        Isn't it actually "iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprise"
(1.3.6.1.4.1)?

Decided to bump this. Hoping for comments of where .iso.org.<company name>
exists. Thanks ...

After further discussion with coworkers, doesn't iso keep its own set from
.iso.org.XYZ? I am still looking at www.iso.com, this ring a bell with
anyone?

Having a discussion at the office about what our company's number is
registered as. How does one determine their company's registered number?
Who can I call? Can I look it up on the net?

I am sure this is documented in an RFC, just thought it would be quicker
to
send this email out first.

Thanks in advance,
