I don't own framework and have installed v7.1.1 7.1.2 and 7.1.3 on Solaris with no issue.

does anybody run NetView 7.1 without a Managed Node?

In the Release Notes there is a possibility to insall NV7.1 Server without FrameWork.

In a practise test the NV-Server needed to connect a TMR - for what?

Can you deinstall a Managed Node with a surviving NV-Server?
