You
cannot just create a smartset using the isDNS field
attribute.
You
need to configure nvsniffer to check port 53.

the man pages for nvsniffer to learn about the discovery and status
options

how can i monitor the DNS service
i did make a smart set containing isDNS
attribute but it didn't match anything at all
how that could be fixed
