Ain't that a complete pain? Jump on the band wagon and tell Tivoli to
add your shop as a "me too!" to enhancement MR0926023124 "Request:
SNMPv2 trap handling in NetView MLM." or whatever means they have of
hearing a chorus of users asking for the same stuff.

Yikes--whose buying the NetView server licenses?

I saw a posting from someone whose investigating running an SNMP trap
proxy using Net-SNMP freeware running on the MLM to proxy the snmpv2
traps to a v1 trap. That sounds like a pretty good idea as a
workaround.
