hmmm.  The ovtopmd is the problem guy here, as the others depend upon him.
Make sure you have sourced the Tivoli environment befofre you do your
ovstart or ovtopmd will not pick up the correct environment.  So try this:
(1) ovstop nvsecd
(2) .  /etc/tivoli/setup_env.sh
(3) ovstart
 If that doesn't work, try starting the daemons by invoking /etc/netnmrc.
And if that doesn't work, try a reboot.
There's an environment problem somewhere

Subject:  [NV-L] Netview Processes not Starting






Hello all,

Environment:
NV 6.0 (just upgraded from version 5)
Solaris 2.7 (running on E450 )

I just received an event stating that the nvserverd process had ended.  I
issued
the ovstop command to stop any remaining processes and then ovstart to
restart
and now half of my processes will not start.  Any suggestions will be
appreciated.

The netnmrc.start indicates problems with the following processes:
