You can force a re-install of a component by removing the indicator file
from the Tivoli database.
You must have sourced the Tivoli environment in order to find it.

(1)  .  /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh
(2) cd $BINDIR/.installed
(3) remove NVB_60_BIN   ("NVB" is the books).

Then you can re-install.
Be careful what you remove or you could have to re-install more than you
want to.

A similar process can be used to re-install a patch, which begins with
"pa_".

 If the patch or component  file says "NVF" it is for the Framework.

 The server is "NVS"
  NVD is the relational database portion

 NVB is the books

Hello,

how can i reinstall the NetView OnlineBooks ?
If I choose from the tivoli console /Product install  / Netview 6.0 Books a
message appear "Nothing to do for this portion".
but the directory /usr/OV/books/C/html is empty.

Any hint's ?
