I have MIBs and they import TRAP-TYPE, but do not use them :-(
I should have mentioned, that I scanned through all these files and tried
mib2trap on them.
My hope was, that somebody had did this job before, there must be quite a
lot of these Wellfleet boxes in the market.

Frank

If you already have MIBs which contain trap definitions in them (they
typically say TRAP-TYPE) then you mib2trap against the MIB file itself.
See the man page on mib2trap for the syntax and some suggestions on usage.

Hello all,
is there somebody, who was able to get/load the trap definitions for
Wellfleet routers to Netview? We are using SiteManager 14 and Netview 6.0.1
on AIX. (The MIBs are loaded and the Sitemanager integration seems to work
fine)
Thanks
Frank
