At 5.1.2 I know I had to use the turbo form of the database to handle more
than
81 interfaces. I have not seen any of those devices with V6 yet, but assume
it is
the same. See Appendix G in the Installation manual for V6 for details.

Subject: [NV-L] limit on interfaces?

Hi list

Does anyone know if there is a limitation on the number of interfaces
NetView can handle?

We have two Cisco 7206 with more than 120 interfaces and NetView detects
only 81 with both routers.

We are on AIX 4.3.2 and NetView 5.1.2 / 6.0

With kind regards / mit freundlichen Gruessen
