Yup.  Traps are sent udp with no guarantee that they ever reach their
destination.  MLM re-sends them to NetView using TCP and thus guarantees
reception of the ones he sends to NetView.  You are in the same boat with traps
sent directly to NetView.  If trapd is not up, they are lost.

Hi,
     just a quick, possibly dumb question.....

If you have a few MLMs out there and one of them goes down, what happpens
to the events that are being forwarded to the MLM?
Are they lost forever?
