Have you sourced the Tivoli environment with the following command?

. /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh

If so, try:

cd $LIBDIR
ls -l libtas*

If libtas.so is not there, it is probably the result of a failed framework
installation or upgrade. If you have signed up for Tivoli support on the web
site http://www.support.tivoli.com/ the product manuals and release notes are
online.

My first question would be what OS are you putting it on?
Second, did you read the release notes and note the items for the particular
OS?

Sounds like you are missing a prerequisite file package.

        Hi all,
Having some bother installing Tivoli framework v3.6.1 - I have not
received any documentation and it's proving to be a bit of a minefield.
Installation seems to progress ok and completes with no errors, but when I
try to start tivoli, I get back the message, "Could not load program tivoli
        Could not load library libtas.a[shr.o]
Error was: No such file or directory"

I wish James was here ;o)

        Thanks,
        Phil.
