This is a 'training issue' I have with every single customer. Before using
anything under Edit, repeat this mantra: "Cut from THIS, but Delete from
ALL".   ;)

I figured out what the problem was, i used cut from ALL submaps so i got
all
the symbols from my other maps to when i pasted =)

Hi.
I have no idea why there is 9 symbols for 1 object,
but I think that you can remove 8 of them in the
following way:
1. Use your mouse to point the symbol to be removed
  (just move the pointer)
2. Push right button - a menu will be displayed.
3. Choose EDIT->DELETE->SYMBOL.
4. Repeat until the number of symbols is greater than needed.

When you select a symbol (left button) - all symbols of object
are selected. Then, when you use EDIT->DELETE OBJECT->...
from main menu - you delete the object and all of its symbols are
removed.
