You don't need the full size of your images database for free disk space.  Only 
the metadata of the images database is imported into the EMM database.  This 
usually accounts for about 1% - 3% of the total images database size.  In your 
case, the 20 GB of free space should be fine.  This is only needed for the 
migration process.  All new backups will put the metadata directly into the EMM 
database.
