[Veritas-bu] Keeping hostname, changing IP addresses

I am moving my master server to new hardware,
but am keeping the hostname. I am also want to change the IP address
and naturally have the DNS record changed as well. I wish to move
it to a subnet that utilizes jumbo frames. Aside of all of the hardcoded
clients that will become immediately known, is there any other pitfalls
that I may encounter with this?
