What’s the best practice on moving the NBU master catalog to an NFS mount or a SAN share? With all the drama going on around our catalog size and the new Isilon, I’m beginning to wonder if we’ll out grow out current master servers local disk soon. I’ll be digging through Symantec PDFs, but thought I would throw it out here for you all as well. My obvious concerns are I/O. In our environment I would say we usually have no more than 30 active jobs (including children) running at a time. Our average is probably 10 or less, with bursts of 30.
