[Veritas-bu] Advice on HPUX 11.11

Hi, I wonder if I can get some unix advice!
Looking at moving Unix from Unix Data Protector to NBU 7.0.1
As a test, installed a client on HPUX 11.11 and performed a test backup of their selected folders.
It took over 16 hours. yet DP could do the same in 4 hours!
Bit gobsmacked really. Also found out it is on a different vlan running 100mb, but the results are not good from their point of view.
Not knowing Unix that well, is there anything I could ask someone to check / verify as to why it was slow?
