I don't think there is a "danger".
However, we deactivate them and keep them around because sometimes
knowing what old backup policies and servers existed is useful. You can
see details about which policies backed up which clients by looking in
the <pathto>/netbackup/db/classes directory if they're still there.

In NBU 6.5.6, is there any danger in deleting policies via the GUI? Does
