Re: [Veritas-bu] bperror differences in 6.5.x and 7.0

I can confirm the same command worked
for me in a NBU 7.0 environment on Solaris 10 Master. I also checked the
same command on a Windows 7.0 media server and it worked as well.

We are currently doing testing with Netbackup 7.0 (currently
on 6.5.4) and when I tested the command it worked fine. We are on a Solaris
master server, if that makes any difference.
[thylacine:root]: bperror -U -backstat -hoursago 96 -by_statcode
0 the requested operation was successfully completed
dcmx001.devc.tds.test miwisu87.corp.tds.local
miwisu88.corp.tds.local miwitestsu17.corp.tds.local
miwitestsu18.corp.tds.local miwitestsu19.corp.tds.local
1 the requested operation was partially successful
miwitestsu19.corp.tds.local
57 client connection refused

I'd also be interested in a resolution to this as we use
the output to populate an SQL DB - thanks.

In 6.5.x bperror -U -backstat -hoursago 24 -by_statcode
Gave a condensed output of all clients backed up in the last 24 hours sorted
by status code
Example
0 the requested operation was successfully completed
svcacibu1 scacibu01
1 the requested operation was partially successful
scacibu02
2 none of the requested files were backed up
scacibu04
52 timed out waiting for media manager to mount volume
svcacibu1
58 can't connect to client
scacibu03
Now under 7.0 bperror -U -backstat -hoursago 24 -by_statcode
Only gives the master server in the output
Example
0 the requested operation was successfully completed
svcacibu1
Does anyone have any clue as to why this would be, the bperror -h indicates
the command should still produce the output that 6.5.x produced.
