Take a look at the following link that did some actual testing against the big 
4 LTO media vendors.

I've almost always used Fuji or Maxell and had very few problems with the 
media.  This was true even at the LTO1 level where there were very well known 
engineering issues with that format (I would have at least 1 or 2 stuck tapes 
in drives every week).  Imation has been a pain in my experience.

This article may be old but I think the data is still fairly accurate.
