[Veritas-bu] DC 48v disk storage

Is it common that Disk storage systems are able to use DC 48 volt power, or is this rare? When I ask about DC I either get a flat out “no” or it is like I’ve knocked the sales people off guard and they have to get back to me on that.

Has anybody else run into this?
