Affirmed, recently integrated with existing LTO II drives in SL8500 library.
Barcode rules are important as well, make sure the suffixes are modified from "L2" to "L4",
If you don't you'll have problems in legacy migration tape copies.

You can do it.

Use HCART2 drive and media type for LTO2 and HCART for LTO4. Configured the appropriate barcode rules and you are ok.

Hi

I want to know if there is a possibility to mix LTO2 and LTO4 drives and media in the same library StorageTek SL500 

with Netbackup 5.1.

If there is documentation for this ... pls i want to know
