Hi,

Exp. w/ Sun SL8500s here, all redundant parts for the most part, works
very well (w/ dual ACSLS hosts HA).

Although people have noted on this list before that the ADIC i2000's work
well too.

The Sun SL3000 is good but if you have two robots and one of them gets
stuck pulling or putting in a tape _AND_ the other robot cannot push the
stuck one out of the way (into the service bay) then you may end up with
an inoperable robot.

We looked at the same thing..

With the SL8500 you have four LSMs, (8 bots total) so if one LSM has a
problem, it will not affect the other 3.

For the SL3000 it is one robot that controls all the levels of the robot.

Justin.
