Pls install 6.5.3/6.5.5. Version
6.5.4 doesnot have solution for this problem.
I recently faced the same issue.

Hi all ,
We have recently installed 6.5.1 on windows server 2008 sp2 client(64bit)
. But when we tried to backup system state ..we got following error....
failure reading file: Shadow Copy Components:\System State\System Files\System
Files
Master : windows ser ver 2003 sp2 , 6.5.1
Please suggest me.............
